DIGCOMP 2.2

What it is about

Digcomp 2.2 is an update of DIGCOMP 2.1 and represents a common European reference framework for digital competences. Being a European public document and identifying and describing digital competences in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes, it was used by Intertek to define a certification scheme for citizens' digital competences.

The examination is based on incrementally difficult questions that return a certificate, under Accredia accreditation (Accreditation Body Regulation (EC) No. 765/2008), which defines mastery levels for the competence areas defined by DIGCOMP. In addition to being issued in PDF format, the certificate is also issued with an OpenBadge ("digital badges" containing metadata with information about the certificate and digitally recognised internationally).

L’OpenBadge viene rilasciato a tutti riportando il livello di padronanza, rilevato dall’esame, partendo da Base 1 ad altamente specializzato 8 per ogni area di competenza. Il Badge ha una validità di 4 anni. Non è previsto mantenimento. La certificazione come EDSC DIGCOMP USER non è una certificazione professionale ai sensi della Legge 4:2013 ma rientra nelle certificazione delle persone secondo la norma di accreditamento ISO 17024.

Pre-requisites

Since this is a USER certification there are no pre-requisites for access to the examination, anyone can take the certification exam.
